THERE were a lot of tears, some flowers and a steady flow of kind words yesterday at the Coast pharmacies which bore Margo Kliendienst's name at their entrances.

The 50-year-old's death has shocked all who knew her, including those who knew her well.

Colleagues at the Terry White Chemists she owned at Little Mountain and Nambour Heights yesterday paid tribute to a woman who cared about everybody.

Margo used her maiden name of Kliendienst in reference to her businesses but also went by her married name of Conroy.

Little Mountain pharmacy retail manager Dee Broderick said Ms Kliendienst encouraged her to take the next step in her career.

"She was the one who encouraged me to step up to be a retail manager," Mrs Broderick said.

"She opened my eyes to my potential and gave me opportunities I never thought would be open to me."

She said customers had been bringing in flowers and sharing kind words throughout the day.

"We expected her to walk straight back in that door.

"She will be missed every day."

Another colleague, who did not want to be named, was in shock at the loss of the woman she had worked in pharmacy with for more than 20 years.

"She was just one of the true good people in the world," she said.

Former colleague Louise Currey, who had been a book keeper for Ms Kliendienst for three-and-a-half years, said her former boss was well respected by her staff.

"She had a great rapport with customers," Mrs Currey said.

"They were always happy to see her and asking after her when she wasn't here."

She was pleased that customers were coming in to support the staff with kind words and flowers.

"She was an amazing woman."

A search for Ms Kliendienst began on Monday night after her husband and family could not contact her.

Police alerted the public to her disappearance on Tuesday morning.

The search ended on Tuesday afternoon after Ms Kliendienst's body was found in bushland.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

Life is so precious

And it has the ability

To remind us deeply
