Tuckshop priority for St Therese's captains

CONTINUING our rolling coverage of North Burnett school captains in 2019, we talk to St Therese's Catholic Primary School Monto Year 6 leaders, Jasmin McLurcan and Bradan Hill.

What changes would you like to help introduce to your school this year?

Jasmin McLurcan: I would like to help get the tuckshop open, repaint the handball courts and find a way to clean up under the Year 5-6 classroom.

Bradan Hill: I would like new sports stuff.

What are you looking forward to at the end of the year?

Jasmin: Having a nice graduation mass then going to the Colonial for our colour-themed graduation (navy blue, baby pink and silver) with a lolly bar.

Bradan: Our navy blue, pink and silver at the Colonial.

Tell us about your favourite school event of the year.

Jasmin: I like the Anzac Day march because it makes me feel proud. And cross country days because they are fun.

Bradan: Our school Fun Day.

What sort of example do you want to set for the younger students?

Jasmin: I want to set a good example and help people that aren't confident with stuff.

Bradan: Encouraging kids to do their best by being a good role model.
