GLAMPING sites and a camp kitchen will be built at the Mingo Crossing caravan and camp site thanks to North Burnett Regional Council and the State Government.

The council and the government will contribute $1.27 million each to boost facilities at the North Burnett camping site.

New powered sites and an amenities block will also be built.

The State Government's Building Our Regions program has allocated $156.7 million to 109 infrastructure projects across the state, generating more than 1300 jobs and attracting more than $277 million investment from councils and other organisations.
