VIDEO: Monster 2.5m python pulled from Coast home
A 2.5 metre python has been wrangled out of a Sunshine Coast home after it was discovered curled up and relaxed above three bird cages.
The snake is thought to have taken a kip after the smell of the birds caught its attention from nearby forest areas.
Unable to access the birds, the snake found a spot behind some wooden planks on the outside of the garage on the Buderim Queenslander.
Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 managed to wrangle the yellow and silver spotted python from its slumber, the snake dozey enough to be taken away without striking the handler.
