What are our rural women celebrating?

BURNETT Inland Women in Agriculture Day at Mundubbera Town Hall on Tuesday will celebrate International Rural Women's Day.

Connect with old and new friends and join the BIEDO team for a positive day of connecting and sharing information, hearing wonderful stories and learning about topics relevant to women in agriculture.

The day's major sponsor is Suncorp and its representative Angela Hutchinson will address the audience.

Other guest speakers include Katie Zerner from RCS who has been sponsored by Burnett Catchment Care Association, Kylie Slack, Cillia Pershouse from Blue Gum Farms TV and Terena Staib from Australian Naturals Online.

Along with the guest speakers there will be the usual agency stalls, 12 trade stands while each attendee will receive a goody bag at the free event being held from 9am to 3pm.

The raffle and lucky door prizes usually have some amazing prizes.

Morning tea and lunch provided by Mundubbera Kindergarten who will also have a bake stall.

To date, 80 people have registered their intention of attending.
