Melbourne Cup Festivities: in Biggenden, More details to come.

Ridgehaven Melbourne Cup Luncheon: Join the residents at Ridgehaven to watch the races. $2 and $5 sweeps, raffles, prizes for jockey's colours and best dressed lady and gent. Admission $25, phone 41661082 by October 28 to book.

Melbourne Cup Mundubbera Luncheon: At the Royal Hotel. Lunch and a day of entertainment. Raising funds for the Mudubbera Kindy. Tickets $30 from the Royal Hotel.

QCWA Luncheon The Mundubbera QCWA will hold a Melbourne Cup Luncheon from noon. $20 a head. Prizes for best hat, sweeps, lucky door, afternoon tea. RSVP Margaret 4165 6114.

Coalstoun Lakes Playgroup: Come bring the kids for a play with other little ones from around the community. Relax with a cup of coffee as the kids engage with others. At the Coalstoun Lakes State School from 9-11am.

Colour Run: Eidsvold State School P&C Association will hold a Colour Fun Run. The event will feature an obstacle course as well as coloured powder. Participants will get wet, dirty and coloured. For more information phone Trudie on 0427651446.
