Which North Burnett cafes are open for dine in

SATURDAY morning has been scheduled as the go-ahead for cafes in south east and outback Queensland to open, following months of coronavirus restrictions.

Up to 10 people at a time are now allowed in restaurants, pubs, and cafes, to adhere to the Queensland government's strict regulations on social distancing.

North Burnett cafes have had to make the call on whether they’re going to open their doors to their customers, while abiding by the regulations.

A Little Different Cafe owner Belinda Fischer said her cafe will be opening up to the 10 allowed, but is cautious of how Saturday will play out.

“I feel good that we’re able to open up again, but it may be hard to police 10 people at a time, I feel it might become a bit of an issue,” Mrs Fischer said.

“Since people have been restricted for so long, they’ll all want to be out dining.

“I honestly don’t know how it’s going to go, but I’ll have an extra staff member on anyway.”

Cafes reopening for dine in:

– Mt Perry General Store

– Monto Coffee Lounge

– Cafe Delicious, Monto (tables outside with numbers monitored, none inside)

– Wags Cafe, Eidsvold (closed on weekends, open on Monday)

– A Little Different Cafe, Gayndah

– Nourished on Capper, Gayndah

– Coffee Pozzee, Biggenden
