Woman charged with attempted murder following stabbing

A REDBANK Plains woman has been charged with attempted murder following police investigations in a stabbing in October this year.

A 60-year-old man sustained multiple cuts and a head injury following a fight at a Burrawang St house on October 10.

The accused woman also sustained a stab wound to the chest and various cuts.

Both were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The 54-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder and appeared in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
