Works to commence at the Weir

MAINTENANCE works have started at the Jones Weir in Mundubbera today.

SunWater advised the North Burnett Regional Council the works were scheduled over the next two weeks from December 6.

The work from 6.30am to 6pm will consist of downstream protection on the right bank.

The project will involve a mix of excavation work and rock basket or concrete repairs.

Trucks will be used to deliver the rocks to the site.

The council said the weir will operate as per normal for releases to ensure irrigation supplies remains uninterrupted.
