Young tennis stars receive awards to cap off season

MUNDUBBERA Junior Tennis held its annual presentation on Friday.

It was an afternoon of friendship and happiness as the juniors got together to celebrate the season's end.

Trophies were awarded to many of the young tennis stars, presented by Ken Colyer.

The award winners are as follows:

Beginners

Most improved boy: Zac Zlotkowski.

Most improved girl: Layla James.

Coaches award: Will Doessel.

Achievement awards: Savanah Burchard, Makayla Dekleric, Zaire Brown, Emily Znotkowski and Grace Knonk.

Intermediate

Boys doubles winners: Myles Fucits and Jack James.

Runners up: Flynn Townsend and Toby Rodgers.

Girls doubles winners: Holly Fucits and Maggie Gagen.

Most improved boy: Jack James.

Most improved girl: Alysa Cowburn

Coaches award: Katie Loakes.

Achievement awards: Zander Burchard, Alysa Cowburn, Tristian Engstron and Dustin Maeyke.

Advanced B

Boys singles winner: Jayden Pashley.

Runner up: Markuss Cowburn.

Boys doubles winners: Jayden Pashley and Adam Zlotkowski.

Girls singles winner: Bridget Zlotkowski.
