"The council's deadlines with the State Government are drawing to an end and these sessions will be the last opportunity for community members to have their say,” Cr Chambers said.

Sessions will be held from 6-7pm at the below:

  • Monto: Thursday November 1 at the Sports Field Club House
  • Eidsvold: Tuesday November 6 at the NBRC Fitness Centre
  • Biggenden: Thursday November 8 at the Council Chambers

The project which was made possible through funding received from the Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing under the Sport and Recreation Planning Program, and was delivered in partnership with South Burnett Regional Council, Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council and local sporting organisations.

"Council engaged specialist consultants, ROSS Planning, to assist with the development of the plan to better understand how our communities engage in sport and recreational activities and our residents' dreams and aspirations for the future,” Cr Chambers said.
